This rough season coming up may cause some on the to unbuckle but people need to stay strong.

I want Coleman Coliseum to look this packed every game this year with every god damn soul in that arena jumping and screaming until their lungs bleed. I want the arena so fricking loud, that we don't even hear our lives crashing and burning away because Coleman Coliseum cannot take that much noise and will implode from under us.

Oh, we're screwed this season, especially without Eubanks. But it's going to get really fun to watch in 16. The best thing well season, is we'll get an idea of the type of style Avery wants to run. Getting Ferguson to commit early will hopefully be big when it comes to getting other recruits to look our direction.

I have faith this season. Taylor, Hale, Obasahan, Norris, and Coleman all return. I believe in CAJ

Then maybe you're a crazy arse your username suggests.

If we win 60%, I'll be very happy. I don't expect any post season tournaments next year.

I'm an eternal optimist Mfer.

But for real though, the teams talent isn't as bad as many set it out to be. Taylor and Kessens aren't any huge threats in the post, but there is certainly size, physicality, and experience there. We know of Obasahan's quickness and ability hit layups, but he still struggles with banking open shots beyond the arc. Norris and Coleman were freshmen last year, so they struggled due to inexperience. They should progress this year under a better HC. Then of course Shannon Hale, who's had a very inconsistent career and took a step back from a good freshman year. So its not like the talent isn't there, just not that much quality depth to rely on. I don't expect an NIT bid, but I'm quit hopeful for a competitive season and staying above .500.

And yes, I am delusional.

@Marq_Burnett: Alabama basketball coach Avery Johnson on 'Hey Coach' talking about his offensive philosophy: "We're trying to score in 5 seconds."

Good. No more bland half-court offense that has the players passing the ball around for 32 seconds and the last player that touches it, closes his eyes, throws it it in the air, and hoping it goes it.

This is the first time in a while that I watched any pro bb.
If we run a nba o then we will have a chance in most games we play.
Must be in shape and know the concept but we should be excited about where we are headed.
It's not always the team with the most talent which wins.
