Bama's 1st team defense has only allowed a TD in 1 of 5 games

So we played our 2nd string for most of the Ole Miss game?

That was the one game the first team D gave up TD. Bama didn't give up a TD against USC, Kent St or Kentucky. The back ups gave up a late TD to Western Kentucky.

Also of note, Bama has given up 5 TD on the year and has scored 5 TD on the year. 3 fumble returns and 2 pick sixes.

If you take away the sack fumble TD that Ole Miss scored on, and take out the Western Kentucky TD against the backups, the first team D has allowed 51 points and scored 35.

So basically, the first team defense has allowed a net score of only 16 points, or 3.2 points per game.

And that, my friends, is why I have total faith that Alabama will find a way to win every game this season.

Damned close to it when they scored the last two TDs. Reuben, Minkah, Allen, and Eddie Jackson were all out of the game.

Wait, what?

1st quarter - Ole Miss rushes for a TD, takes the lead 7-0.

2nd quarter - Chad Kelly throws for a TD. Ole Miss leads 17-3

And then in the 4th quarter, Chad Kelly throws for 2 more TD's.

That's 4 TD's, and all of them came against the 1st team defense.

You are setting other Alabama fans up for failure posting these kinds of "imaginative stats".

I can't believe you don't understand the thread.

"a TD" doesn't mean a single TD. It means that in only 1 game has a TD (in this case, multiple TDs) been scored on the 1st team defense.
