Murphy must have really pissed that KB Sides off. She post nonstop about Bama Football but not a word about Bama Softball. Also she is selling all her Bama gear but specially said she will not sell any of her Arkansas gear

Single game tickets are on sale now on RollTide.com and we're kicking things off this week with the Leadoff Classic! First pitch of the opening day doubleheader is set for 3:30 p.m. CT on Friday against Lehigh followed by a 6:00 p.m. CT matchup with Georgia Southern. We can't wait to have all our fans back at Rhoads Stadium!

All of the Crimson Tide's games this weekend can also be streamed on SEC Network+ through the ESPN app.

If a game sells out on RollTide.com, we'll have a limited number of Brickyard tickets available at the stadium box office on gameday as capacity allows. Fans can also check StubHub to buy tickets from other fans.

2023 Alabama Softball Season Preview (SI)

The excitement level is high around Team 27, but does it have the pieces in place to make a run back to the Women's College World Series?

Not until we charge our offensive philosophy. So tired of slap bunts, trying to manufacture a few runs, and hoping Fouts can shut out the opposing team

We'll roar out to a pristine record over the first three quarters of the season on the back of everything you just said, leaning on Fouts and scraping some runs, and then Montana will get worn down, the lack of a strong second option at pitcher will cost us, and with our offensive philosophy we won't outscore anyone. Different season, same results.

It's infuriating!

Murph has been witness to the greatest coach in the history of college football continually modify his systems and scouting to adapt to the changing landscape of college football, yet Murph can't be bothered to tweak anything?

I honestly don't understand if he's just that stubborn or if he's an idiot (or maybe a little of both )

Only time will tell and right off the bat we got UCLA & FSU I think so we will know what this team is capable of.

I still think we got one of the best players in the country outside of Montana and that's Bailey Dowling.

I look for her to really make this offense go this season.

As far as pitching goes...I expect big improvement from Torrence and Salter. They might surprise us.

Underdog mentality...love the negative energy so hopefully we PROVE folks wrong.

Until Habetz is replaced by a real hitting coach I'll continue to have my doubts. The fact that she hasn't gotten a head coaching job in the last 19 years should be a giant red flag.
