It's not just this game. He's been getting embarrassed in coverage.

Not exactly. He was below average but not horrible in defending the pass coming into this game. But is it really a shock? He had his share of troubles defending the pass at Bama.

He'll be fine. He has shown some really good skills in coverage at times this season, even though he has gotten beat a few times as well.

rolltide RT @ScottHanson @AmariCooper9 has more rec, yds & TDs (33-519-3) than the other 5 WR drafted in 2015 1st round COMBINED

If this is true, then it's amazing.

No, it's not surprising. And I'm not trying to bash him, he's a rookie. Just pointing out that he's given up some back breaking TDs this year. He's made nice plays too, the talent and ability to learn is there.

Did not see the game but Landon was the leading tackler for the Giants.

I saw this abt Amari's stats. However, consider the top 5 WR.

Amari Cooper
Kevin White (Injured; no games)
Devante Parker (injured recovery and injured foot)
Breshad Perriman (injured knee; no games)
Jaelen Strong

he could totally play LB. hes already like 225. just add another 7 lbs and hes legit middle linebacker size. he would probably tear it up there too

Amari recorded his 5th 5-reception game this year and has 38 receptions on the year.

After Rams' coach review, Mark Barron was credited with 11 tackles and 2 TFL yesterday to got along with the pass defended.

PFF gave him a grade of +4.0, allowing only 3 catches for 19 yards on 8 targets.

Trent Richardson working out for the Saints. Would be an epic melt for the LSUsaint fans.

They signed Tim Hightower over him.

Starting to think it's half Trent, half unwilling to work for vet minimum...

Would've been cool to see Ingram and Richardson back together again.

Darrelle Revis praises Amari Cooper after the game

man we got Darrelle freaking Revis praising Amari....Brandon Marshall calling him a "stud muffin"

HE IS SO GOOD. Man i've always loved the NFL but it is so much more fun to watch seeing these Bama guys come in and contribute in a big way.

I read something saying that for some parts of the game not only did they have Revis on Amari....they gave him safety help as well. Which explains why Crabtree and these other alright players are feasting. They are playing 1 on 1 thanks to Amari.

Man not even Revis 1 on 1? Safety help as well? They call it Revis island because they leave him out there 1 on 1 to take the other guy out of the game. That's the best corner in the nfl!

Putting a safety over the top along with Revis is some serious serious respect coming from one of the top defenses in the nfl. That's honestly crazy.

Not a huge day on the stat sheet for him but he had a huge impact on the game. Like always.

damnit I miss him
