I’m not going to stoop to al.com’s listing him as a “black republican” in the headline. What does that have to do with anything? It is simply racist.

Anyway, good for the kid - regardless if you agree with him. Getting involved early in life.

Al.com is obsessed with race and COVID. They are a shell of what they used to be, which is sad because it was never that great to begin with. I applaud this young man's involvement but I don't see it working out for him

Unless the young fellow's name is Bryce Young.

Sounds good child who has been in Tuscaloosa for 15 days of his life. Bring your pals Roger Stone and Laura Loomer to help your campaign.

Businesses are gonna be even more devastated if football season gets cancelled because college students don’t wanna follow a simple rule of wearing a mask

Your assumption is that football should be canceled if students don't wear a mask.

Your assumption is stupid.

Great. What we need is an 19 year who knows everything to fix everything.

We need an old fart that's been in the system for a long time for change!!!

Did I miss something when did UA become a nursing home?

He seems to have missed that UA requested for the bars to be shut down, that the City is giving $400,000 amongst the businesses affected, and that if UA does go to virtual learning because of the COVID issue on campus, the City’s businesses will be worse off because of the number of students who will be forced out of their dorms and fraternities/sororities and have to go home.

The businesses in Tuscaloosa need students on campus to survive.

He doesn't know shite about Tuscaloosa or the University, but that doesn't matter. He needs Klout to keep moving up the ranks of the grifter social media world and by gawd this is a great opportunity to do it!

It's honestly pretty sad that some 18/19 year old kid has already made the conscious decision to build a career out of taking advantage of the poor and uneducated. I mean how fricked up must his childhood have been.

Hey, he can't rely on family connections and wealth like other politicians.

Pearson praised Rand Paul in the past so I'm willing to keep an open mind. This is someone who can't stand Candace Owens or blonde pundies like Tomi Lahren.

That won't be why football season gets cancelled. It will get cancelled because the powers that be are worried their asses will get sued and we as society lack the testicular fortitude to simply proceed with life.

Calling Maddox a career politician is hilarious to me. He ran on change and being full of youthful ideas in 2005.

No political experience before being elected to the City Council in 2001 at age 27.

I mean Walt is reasonable for the most part, but he's been in politics for 20 years now out of what, 25 possible professional working years? Pretty much been his whole career.

Yeah. That’s true. It’s just funny to hear it when he was the change at one point to replace an archaic, career politician.
