Did not want this to happen. This is probably the worst outcome.

Not afraid of Hugh Freeze
He'll just get AU into NCAA trouble again

Good point, hopefully Liberty has just covered up and not cleaned him up.

What about Freeze scares you? Other than him going all in on cheating, I don’t get the “fear”.

I don't get the fear behind this. He won't be able to duplicate his success in SEC. SEC is bettet than they were when he was at Ole miss....

At least they won’t be able to play the faux moral superiority card anymore.

A definite boost for the west Georgia prostitution industry.

They still will. They've never had any right to do it. They've been caught cheating more than any other team except for Texas A&M. That phony moralizing is the thing I hate about Auburn the most.

ETA: The Auburn AD is the guy who was at Mississippi State and helped engineer the scenario where they got a player that Miss State had bribed (Leo Lewis) to go to the NCAA saying Ole Miss had offered to bribe him. Sketchy as hell and would make for an awkward reunion with Freeze. Nothing the fambly couldn't work through though for the right sum, I'm sure.

Never forget that earlier this year, Auburn tried to fire Harsin over fabricated off the field issues which included having an affair…..only to turn around an hire Hugh Freeze.

Freeze and Auburn are a perfect fit. Both have a fake, holier than thou facade but at their heart, they’re really scumbags that will do anything to win.

Meh. I had a feeling this is how it would shake out. Hugh Freeze is a solid coach and will serve them well, however his offense is no longer novel. It will score points but it isn't the juggernaut it was six or seven years ago.

Honestly to me this is the best possible scenario imo. I like Auburn making another hire that has a high probability of blowing up in their faces and them having to spend millions of dollars to get rid.

Never used the word fear, I just happen to think Freeze will be better than the other coaches that have been mentioned. That’s why I think this is the worst outcome for Alabama, hopefully I’m wrong.

My friend, what you just described is a fear. His offense scheme is what kiffin runs.

Both of Freeze’s wins over Bama were early season wins. One year, we had a first year starter at QB. The other year, we had no idea who the starter was until Coker led the second half comeback. There was a lot of luck on Ole Miss’s side in those games.

Dude we are losing to coaches like Brian Kelly, Josh Heupel, and Jimbo Fisher the last couple years. We got bigger problems than Hugh Freeze at Auburn.
