Anyone else wanna see Bama open with TCU one year?

I kinda like TCU. When they were tearing it up as a Mid Major that was fun, and now they're on top of the Big XII. If they can continue to be a good team, I think that'd be a fun opener one year.

Meh....just doesn't have the cachet of Southern Cal, Michigan, for Florida State....no worse than Louisville or West Virginia I suppose.....

Would love it. My childhood best friend is a TCU grad. But by god we better win or I would never hear the end of it. That mofo has never called me after a Bama win, but you better believe he finds time when Bama gets upset.

While I'd like to see it, I'm happy when they play any well established non-SEC Power 5 school to open the year...but I'd be even happier if we'd schedule 2 or 3 of 'em each year like we used to so long ago...

It was fun when we opened with them in Dallas a few years ago, but they do still kind of have that mid major feel for me so I wasn't as pumped as when we opened with Oregon.
