It's Alabama football. In the Sugar Bowl. Against Oklahoma. If you don't love that, I don't know what to tell you.

I think a lot of people love winning more than Alabama football itself. I'm not saying OP is one of them, but it seems to be pretty common.

We will finish 3rd in the BCS. The final BCS standings are already out. They came out on Dec 8th and they do not change after the bowl games.

We should finish 2nd in the AP if we beat OU.

Yeah, if FSU wins and we beat OU, we finish second. If FSU loses it may be harder to finish second, but if we beat OU by a lot and FSU doesn't look as good as advertised, we're #2, which is nothing to be proud of.

Hell I probably loved it MORE back when we sucked. I was younger then, football was a much bigger deal.

I'm excited as hell...

I mean I figure this team is going to give us an outstanding performance and send some guys out on a high note. Plus, I will be there and my entire trip (including gas) besides food is paid for.

Was and am disappointed we didn't make the championship game, but hoping we beat OU.

Alabama has a losing record against them, 1-2-1. If we beat them this year, we will tie it up.

I'm super excited. We're going to New Orleans to play a big name team, and one that we owe a beating as well. Why not be excited?

We win, we will likely finish #3 in the BCS, and have another 12 win season.

Not sure why the doom and gloom here.
+1

I'm super excited to watch Bama give Okie a much needed beat down.

I'm disappointed we're not in the BCS championship game-- especially the way it went down with Auburn. But let's look at reality-- we EASILY could not have been in the national championship games the past few years.

Let's be happy where we are at...and grateful how good we've been in past 6-7 years. I'm here to tell you as a die-hard Patriots fan....3 out of 4 years is not an easy thing to achieve. You blink...and 10 years have gone by.

HNY 2014!! I don't have time to post much anymore-- but I really enjoy reading all you guys info and comments.
Keep on keepin' on...

I will do my part and stay away. Last time I was there was Utah.

Actually same reason I am staying away.
Isn't it a sell out. At least all our allotment is gone and we didn't return tickets like UF did

The most fun I've ever had in a season was 2007.

I just wish OU was better this year. Playing a team outside of the top ten that was beat by a pathetic Texas team is kind of a buzz kill. Other than that though I can't complain.

I will take this year over any from 2000-2007 hands down.

2005 was the year I hope this team never repeats. I was at nearly every home game and several away games.

It isn't ideal but I am excited that we're playing Oklahoma.

Unfortunately NC or bust is a great philosphy to have but it is unrealistic. I'm trying to accept that for what it is
This^^

I'm more looking towards early enrollees, 1st Wednesday in Feb., and the fight for the starting qb, and 2nd string RB for the 2014 season.

I hope they win, obviously, but I don't really have any feelings towards it one way or another. I have alot of shite going on in my personal life right now to worry about it.

I have to work the night of, I'll probably check the score every so often.
