Just in case, I'm going to go watch the game in a bar down on Broadway so I can pick up championship tickets off the sidewalk when the Wildcat fans hit the exits.

There's always a chance. But I don't like us playing our third straight day. We need Monk to stay cold and to find a way to neutralize Fox. Without those two playing well U.K. Becomes pretty average. This is all easier said than done, of course.

I just don't see how we can match their scoring. The good news is that we should be able to match their physicality. We need them to have a cold day, and we cannot afford to turn the ball over.

Need to play with self-belief. Play lights out, especially on offense. Wimps teams always believed they could beat Kentucky,it was rarely an easy game for them.
FT's high percentage, low turnovers,FG's around 50%. Tough defense & rebounding. Kentucky doesnt play their best game. We win.

Not really. No real good ball handlers to create better shots, or consistent scorers. We can keep it close because of our ability to control the boards and physicality on defense, but if UK gets hot, we'll be on the wrong side.

UK has struggled in some games, but they've also won 8 games in a row.

Him scoring 2 points against Uga doesn't bode well for us Imo.

With that said, we have to match UK's intensity. We absolutely cannot go on 5 minute scoring droughts like we tend to do.

If they can keep it close and hit their free throws there is a chance.

Always a chance. We played them pretty tough a few weeks ago, at least in the 2nd half.

Avery may dig deep into the motivation with his mentor's passing yesterday.

On the right day the Americans can beat the Russians in ice hockey and Buster Douglas can knocked out Mike Tyson.

Is this the right day? Probably not.

so do we slow it down or go up tempo. We do play 10 deep. I imagine UK has more athletes who have no problem with tempo

Up tempo? Prepare thy anus if we try to do that. UK is possibly the best up tempo team in the country.

I'm envisioning the level of shite talking on the SECr if we knock off the Cats. Some of y'all's posting privileges will be in serious jeopardy.

This right here. We have to play amazing on offense, limit turnovers, hit FTs, outrebound Kentucky and score some points of TOs. Also, Kentucky has to have a pretty bad game to go along with everything else for us to sniff a win. I think it'll be closer than most people think. I'd say we lose by single digits. However playing 3 days in a row hurts us. We will see but there is always a chance

Gotta be aggressive off the drive also and be physical with UK in the paint. If we start settling for poor jump shots and go into scoring droughts, we'll get beat by double digits. Lets's hope Key is still hot from yesterdays game.

After we win, we are definitely pulling for the Dores. Ark is so damn athletic. Dores go cold on Sunday > nets are ours!

There were probably a few thousand Kentucky fans on Broadway and not in the arena.
