re: Alabama wbb defeat Georgia for first time in 16 years

Not really possible since Foster Auditorium holds a little over 2,000 and Coleman Coliseum is a 15,000 capacity arena. Even when awful, Bama Hoops can draw 3,000 to 4,000 to a game.


If not for the dumpser fire against Auburn, I think the WBB team could be looking at a sell out for the Tennessee game.




Also, even winning would take it a while to fill back up the coliseum. Our women's gymnastics team has been a force since the 80s and did not have a sell out until 1997. That's even after winning THREE national titles (2 won in Tuscaloosa). Establishing a crowd for a women's sport it tough work.
