While we're used to a few shutouts a year, they're just so hard to get. One good return or a TO can screw the D. I wish they kept the points given up just by the defense when counting PPG allowed. But I see why they don't.

We won't beat them too bad. They need money and we need mid-majors willing to come to Tuscaloosa whose travel budget won't be too expensive to keep them from coming.
So a 40 point victory will set up future games that will benefit both programs.
Beating them by 70 would put that in jeopardy. Just my opinion of course.

They beat us a few years back in a shutout in our darkest hour. I wouldn't mind dropping 60 on them. I don't see us trying that hard and that loss was about a decade ago.
SEC play is about to gear up so we may see a half to 3 quarters of dominance and a downshift to get ready for Florida.
