It's a small sample size, obviously, but I wonder how much of that has to do with the athletic abilities of the guys we are currently throwing out there on the OL and their ability to pull and get out in front. That was one of the amazing traits of that OL last year - they were powerful and agile. And Najee was great at picking lanes on those wide runs.

I haven't been very impressed with our perimeter blocking so far. They aren't technically running plays even though they function that way, but we have had a few WR screens get blown up because someone couldn't hold a block or didn't get to their spot in time.

They need to stop trying to throw those to Metchie to be honest. He's our best blocking WR.

Looks like BRob is having the most success regardless. Trey is struggling outside (then again I remember a run or two he had that lost some yardage that was not quite his fault late in the last two games).

Yea I think Trey is getting dragged down with his garbage time runs against run blitzes.

Trey doesn’t look right to me yet. Running stiff, straight up and a bit slow. I don’t think he is fully recovered yet.

It is probably more of a mental / game speed type thing I would guess and is likely the reason that he isn't getting the kind of in-game reps some want him to. Hopefully he can find his groove in the coming weeks and come on later in the season like we have seen other backs do in years past.
