Packers-Bengals coming down to the end FWIW. Game has been entertaining.

DH finished with 54 yards on 13 carries.

Rogers also gets his first W in OT.

Jonathan Allen got his first sack tonight against my Raiders. Love Allen, but I hope that's the last one tonight

Amari held to just 1 catch for 6 yards against the Redskins. He is off to a really slow start.

He had a horrible drop too. He's had 6 drops through 3 games. Wtf is wrong with him this year.

Which is funny since he had the surest of hands while at Bama, while Julio dropped what felt like half the balls that came his way.

Notable for Week 3:

Chance Warmack got his first start of the season.
CJ Mosley, and Landon Collins lead their teams in tackling while Mark Barron and Kareem Jackson are second on their teams.
As mentioned in an earlier post, Jonathan Allen got his first NFL sack.
Andre Smith didn't start but played significant time at both LT and RT, and many think he will be a starter again before long. He was a major upgrade over Jake Fisher.
Not sure what is going on with TJ Yeldon, an healthy inactive for the second week in a row.

I feel like Mark is one of the most overlooked football player in the NFL by a large margin.

Technically had two, but they were both 0.5 sacks so only 1 on the stat sheet.

Film study: In the midst of an abysmal defensive performance against the Jaguars, Marlon Humphrey impressed

quote:

When the 2017 NFL Draft began, it didn’t appear that cornerback was atop the Ravens list of needs. The Ravens needed pass rushers, offensive lineman and wide receivers. After signing Brandon Carr, drafting a corner in the first round seemed unlikely. But after three quarterbacks went in the top 15 as well as a run on offensive players, it was clear that a blue-chip defender was going to fall to the Ravens. With so much talent on the board, Ozzie Newsome took the best player available, and that was Marlon Humphrey, a cornerback from Alabama.

Throughout parts of training camp and the preseason when he was healthy, Humphrey was immensely impressive. Against the Saints in the final game of the preseason, Humphrey was targeted often, and held up every time.

What's funny about this title, is I'm not that surprised.

I follow Cooper on Instagram and the entire off season he did not mention football. His daily stories were talking about reading and book clubs.

On the other extreme was Antonio Brown. Every hour of his day is devoted to game film, diet, training, recovery, etc.

It's actually wild to watch. Check them out and you can see for yourself on Instagram

His last post was "this is what them 10,000 hours get you," and it's him making a sick one handed catch. I don't think he's talking about 10,000 book club hours.

He's only had 5 posts since April, and most of them were football related.

He's had some monster plays this year, but he has dropped too many balls. The Raiders in general just haven't looked that inspired this season.

We looked great the first two games. The Raiders in general looked off the entire game vs Washington. Against the Jets, Carr and Crabtree hooked up for 3 TDs. I'm sure Cooper will get it going soon- he's had back to back 1000-yard seasons- it's just alarming that he's still having issues with drops.

It's the season now. I said the off season. I'm not hating. I just found it very weird how much time was spent talking about his book club.

O.J. Howard scored his first TD. 58 yards

What is it about Howard that makes teams just leave him wide open like this?
