In addition to new coach Dana Duckworth flipping a prized recruit Bailie Key from Florida (NCAA Champions of 2013, 2014 and 2015),

she's now gone a step further

and flipped a girl ALREADY on the Florida roster.

UF Freshman Peyton Ernst (an elite US national team member in HS) will be UA Sophomore this coming season.

Saban would be proud.

Peyton Ernst Transfers to the University of Alabama

We've been on tDecline since Sarah Patterson left. Losing to Auburn really pissed me off last year.

I'm never ok with losing, but a reset needed to happen in my opinion

The pressure on the coaches to continue and the ladies not to fail.

Yes, the incoming freshman she flipped causes excitement in more ways than one.

Besides, anyone who watched that meet could see it was a sham. Judges knew exactly what to give the last Auburn floor routine to win, and even applauded. Disgusting.

All jokes aside, I had a chance to meet Dana Duckworth last year at one of the Crimson Caravan deals....very impressed with her.

Apparently Sarah Patterson chose her as her successor years ago. Duckworth was in the business world and on track to become a high ranking CEO type at Pfizer. Patterson went all in to convinced her to come back to coaching as David Patterson's back surgery was going to soon force him to retire.

This is a good read LINK, a blog from a 2018 Florida recruit, Emily Gaskins, Dana also flipped, talking about why she chose to come to Tuscaloosa, when her sisters all go to UF. (I'm beginning to think we might have a vendetta against Florida Gymnastics).
