Any chance you could look up AAU stats for Dewayne DJ Stewart out of MS? Heard he's been turning heads.

11/4/1 40% shooting. It looks like he also led MS Express in minutes which is pretty impressive considering Woodard is on the team. Only 3 turnovers in 4 games too.

Looks like Josh Roberts is starting to get D1 offers. UGA and AU offered after one session of EYBL.

He picked up a few offers this weekend; at least one was an SEC offer.

I thought Roberts might be a sleeper when I saw he was transferring high schools to Montverde.

I was worried about this recruiting class, but several guys from the Wimp pipeline of Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia are starting to emerge.
Myreon Jones is all the way up to #11 on 247. The Ivy League schools and Stanford are interested.

I'd be surprised if he's in our class.

What is the story there?

Was about to say the same thing. Suppose to be a really good shooter. Can never have enough of those.

Do we not want him? Does he feel disrespected because we didn't offer earlier?

@draftexpress
This doesn't even include all the seniors graduating and entering the draft.
Only 60 total players get drafted.
There's no way Key will get drafted this year. He'd be unwise not to withdraw (unless his family really needs money or something like that)

Not sure he's seen as a high D1 prospect at this time. I doubt we take a high school PG, especially during early signing period, unless he's an absolute stud.

Not sure why we wouldn't take a PG if he's a good PG prospect (top 150 quality). It's unlikely that Sexton returns and Ingram (or Myreon Jones for that matter) has the size to play at the 2 which Ingram might be suited better for anyways.
The start of Herb Jones's rise to a near consensus top 100 player was very similar to Myreon Jones's rise to a top 15 player on 247. Herb didn't have much, if any HM interest when Meyer all of the sudden ranked Herb as a top 50 player out of the blue to draw attention to him, and as the year progressed he slid him down the rankings while other services bumped him up. He does that quite a bit with players around this time of year. Myreon's probably not a top 15 player, but he could be a top 50 player that Meyer is trying to expose.

Multiple choice:
A) Sexton's staying 2 years
B) Jones isn't a true 4 star player
C) We like a c/o '19 PG better already
D) All of the above
Your guess is as good as mine.

My daughter is a sophomore at Xavier and I have a son a junior at St Mary's. He was going to Brophy, but chose St Mary's for basketball.
Was Bob Ryan the principal when you went to Brophy?

A. Hope you're right, but I just don't see it...
B. It's very possible he isn't, but I'm not talking about him specifically. I'm talking about any quality PG recruit.
C. I hope this isn't the case. We shouldn't avoid recruiting a need for the next season because we like someone better in the following class. If the kid in the following class is a stud then an inferior recruit one year his senior shouldn't scare him away.

247 isn't the only one I've seen say Jones is about to blow up so we will see soon.

We've offered kids at every position except PG. Not a need right now. We need wings and a post.
