I think Sexton will end up being overall better than Petty, but Petty will be more consistent if that makes more sense. Sexton is just going to have more ups and downs than Petty. Given Sexton's aggressive style of play, it should be expected as an 18YO

I think Petty's contribution will be much more visible on the stat sheet while Sexton's value may be more disguised in the form of raising the level of play around him, drawing defenses, etc.

MSU/Mizzou scare me this year. I don't think they are tournament teams, but they have the talent to knock off good teams if they can overcome their coaching deficiencies

Mizzou for sure. Not sure about MSU tho. They should be dangerous, but I just have that feeling that they won't be. Howland seems to be a good recruiter but that's it.

Updating our Canadian opponents
McGill lost to Towson by a similar margin that they did to us. Maybe Towson can win the CAA this year. They were solid last year and seem to be having a good preseason.
McGill plays Kent State tonight in Costa Rica.
Vanderbilt plays Carleton in the US Virgin Islands. Vanderbilt is one of the biggest question marks in the league for me this year. I still say you can't take much if anything from August basketball, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious how they'll do tonight.

Carleton is really a good team to play before the season I think. They simulate a good mid major well.
