I'd say right now we'd take 2 of the following 3: Butler, Richardson and Stewart. Woodard or Moore and Fleming. (Not that we will, but that we'll try to.)

He's listed as a SG on 247, but he plays PG in AAU. I see him as a point guard because his strengths are getting to the hole, finishing at the rim, and passing. His outside shooting is the area he needs to improve most.

Looks like they made the start of the schedule pretty easy to work out a lineup and chemistry probably. The stretch from November 21-December 9 is brutal.
I'm kind of disappointed that Mercer is the Huntsville game, but it's better than nothing. Overall a good schedule.

How about this six-day stretch for Alabama in December? UCF (12/3), Rhode Island (12/6), at Arizona (12/9). That's how you build a resume.

I personally like the Mercer game, assuming we win. Solid mid major.
I asked Colton Houston and he said the Huntsville game does count as a neutral site. I know we were never fully sure about that last year.

Mercer went to Auburn last year and lost by 2 points. I remember watching that game. They're a pretty dangerous team most of the time.

I don't think it's too unrealistic to say we could end up with a schedule like Vanderbilt's. Auburn, Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma could jump into the 51-100 range. Texas A&M could jump into the top 50.
Memphis, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and UT Arlington will all likely drop though.

I'm hoping Jamal Johnson can at least carry Memphis to a decent season so it won't hurt our RPI too much

CBSSports NCAA Tournament to Emphasize Road Results in new Bracket Process
quote:
Team sheets have been highlighted by a four-column separation of wins, losses and location. Now those four columns will have overlapping rankings, depending on where games were played. Here's how it breaks down (all references to rankings are RPI numbers):
quote:
Column 1: Home games against teams ranked 1-30, neutral games vs. top-50 teams, road games against top-75 teams
Column 2: Home games against teams ranked 31-75, neutral games vs. 51-100, road games vs. 76-135
Column 3: Home games against teams ranked 76-160, neutral games vs. 101-200, road games vs. 136-240
Column 4: Home games against teams ranked 161-351, neutral games vs. 201-351, road games vs. 241-351

Right after we get a great schedule with most the games at home they pull this.
A road game against a team 76-135 probably going to be easier than a home game against a team in the top 50. Hopefully this doesn't actually change the selections much.

I thought I read where this doesn't get applied until the 2018-19 season
