I just wanted to call attention to this young man and give him props. After missing that short field goal in the first quarter he could have pulled a Foster and just continued to shite himself the rest of the night, however he got his head on right and hit two more FG's; one being the game-tying kick, with 3 seconds left, in DEATH VALLEY AT NIGHT and he looked like he had ice in his veins when he hit it.

Here's to the young man and hopefully he has gotten the kinks out of his system and goes on to be the kicker we all know he can be.

Yep, was great to see. I was worried after that first miss that he was finished in this game. Those two he made after that were as clutch as can be. Felt really good for him.

I see the corndogs are still melting today, coming in and downvoting a thread that gives props to a player that was struggling.

Its OK corndogs, there is always next year.

They are still in full melt mode. Just take a look at the Tiger Rant. They are still losing their shite over there.

Props to Adam. Glad to see him bounce back.

He bounced back that's the big thing. That said I still have 1 percent confidence on anything that's not in the middle of the field.

Here's to hoping he's Leigh Tiffin part II. Remember how rough his start was?

I give him a lot of hell for what he does wrong. I have to compliment him for what he did right.

That is the way to NOT be Cade Foster. Bounce back when it counts during a big match. Cade has never did that once (with us ending up the victors) so all credit to Adam.

I hope he uses this to increase his confidence and never again goes that far into such a rabbit hole.

Still want to know what he's going through injury wise, has some guts to tough it out at a position that's almost completely form. You can't change it even if it hurts.

I've heard hip, I've heard he was wearing a back support on the sidelines, and people saw him wincing on kickoffs.

Tiffin ended up being a first team All-American. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Griffith will be also. Remember where you heard it first.

I'm not ready to anoint him All-American status yet, however maybe those two high-pressure kicks will be what he needs to believe in himself again and go out there and be the kicker we all know he can be.

Props to the young man. It looks to my like he may be trying to strike the ball too hard. JMO.

The great thing for him is that before he's done he's gonna be kicking in as many as 36 more games on the absolute biggest stage in college football. Tiffin's game at Arkansas was about as bad as it gets, yet look what happened. Griffith has the leg...he just needs to keep it straight between the ears. Kicking in the biggest games gets your name out there for awards.

Griffith was a great kicker in HS. He is now only a fair kicker in college. Remember how Shelly missed those FGs in the LSWho game. If you look back I believe he did not miss another FG that season or the next. The only possible reason is that coach put him out on the field and made him kick about 1K balls until he got it right.

Griffith needs to do the same. Just kick FGs until he thinks his leg will fall off. He could be a great kicker but he is not there yet. Like they say, "practice makes perfect".

When Griffith came out after halftime, he missed some easy practice kicks. It got me really worried. He missed the last two chip shots and then walked to the sideline. In my head, I was thinking he needed to just walk up to the goal line kick it through, just to have some confidence....kind of like when you're on the driving range and you just want one good shot before you go tee off.

I don't know how serious the injury could be, he put one kickoff through the back of the end zone Saturday.
