So wait, do y'all seriously think we shouldn't be objective or critical because of our past accomplishments? That's the kind of mentality that led to the DuBose-Shula years.

I think we should be extremely happy that we are no longer in that era and since 2008, we have been in the NATIONAL TITLE DISCUSSION AND/OR HUNT every year and we are this year... Are there concerns?? Of course!! As fans do we have the luxury of "questioning" Saban? Yes!! He isn't perfect... But some of you should really take a step back and look at the total body of work since he has been here...

The sky is not falling. The program is in GREAT SHAPE. We will be fine this year.. Enjoy the ride and Roll Tide!!

I swear, people are acting like we're 1-5 instead of 5-1. We still have a lot to play for, and this crazy season isn't over yet. If the Barn still has hope for this year, then so do we.

Where have I ever said this? I'll gladly be critical when I need to be.

I just use past experiences under Saban to shape my criticisms before going all "our dynasty is over" like many here do.

Remember when our vaunted oline of 2012 gave up like 6 sacks to Western Kentucky.

Or Greg's bad stretch of games in 09

How terrible our offense looked against VT last year

People seem to think we've never played a close game under Saban.

Like I said I'll join y'all once we are out of the playoff hunt in being down on the team.

We've been blessed over the years with stability at the QB position. I don't think it is a coincidence that OM & MSU's current success coincides with them having arguably the two most experiences QB's in the league.

If we don't win a championship this year, people will be able to live with that. There is literally nobody who wants Saban to be fired...but if we end the year with no real accomplishments and/or another loss to AU, then it will reasonable to be frustrated with the results.

There you go again. If you could read my twitter feed during an away game you could easily tell how frustrated I get even about the smallest things. 90% of tweets are essentially me venting about my sports teams.

We aren't there yet though.

As of this moment, there are Alabama fans who have seen how we have played/coached this year and have every right to be concerned about our chances to go unscathed the rest of the way.

I'm just as concerned as everyone else while also being objective about it all. The rest of the schedule plays out in our favor. I'm willing to let it play out.

Turn a blind eye and say "We'll be fine." "All is well." "Saban's going to mudhole Sumlin."

There is a difference between critical and just being obtuse.

There is a difference between this and this whole "the sky is falling" shite I see so often. We've lost 1 fricking game on the road to a top 3 team.

C'mon man. That sentence doesn't even remotely tell the story of how the season is going. We have to have room to discuss the goings on of the team. That said, I've been way more positive this year than the avg it seems.
