I never would have thought I'd ever see a Bama receiver with 1727 yards receiving. Besting Julio's record of 1133 yards when he was here. Made for an exciting side story this year. Having said that.. I would love to see Richardson's rushing record of 1679 yds broken next year and watch next yrs team pound teams into submission.

hope that wr record is never, ever broken or even approached ... too much dependency by the qb on one person does not an efficient offense make ...

FIFY. That's what Kiffin does: Abuse star talents. Still, 3500 passing yards is 3500 passing yards no matter who's catching them. Let's not pretend like our problem was on offense this season (yes, I realize it wasn't ideal the other night). Our secondary and 3rd down defense pretty much shoulders the majority of the blame for our struggles this year.

K. Drake will put up all around heisman like numbers next year. Lane will abuse lb's and safetys with him. He is on par with Amari as far as speed goes. Can't wait.

I seriously think Drake could go for 1200/600

Kiffin designs a few plays to get his star the ball.. but please don't try to act like he's telling Blake to throw it to Amari every play. That's on Blake, and he lived and died by it all year.

I would not expect Drake to have the same speed he had pre-injury, at least not immediately.

It's gonna take him a while to get his burst and top-end speed back.

A few? Yes, sometimes Blake forced the ball too much to Amari, but every play has a primary option and more often then not Amari was said option. Blake didn't always go through his progression like he should have, but it wasn't like Cooper was a secondary option on a lot of his receptions. I'm not trying to defend Blake or criticize Kiffin, because Amari's "overuse" wasn't a bad thing at all. I just think the majority of Amari's yardage and use was by design.

It's also mindblowing to think he caught 16 TDs this year when you consider that coming into the season the CAREER receiving TD record at Bama was 18
