2017 Season

I know it was a tough loss last night, but don't worry Bama will be back.

Bama is losing some great players on defense this year, but there is still a lot of talent on the defense, just not experienced. Humphery should be the only junior to jump to the NFL on that side if he does decide to go. I think Bama will be fine either way, look for Shyheim Carter to benefit if Humphery does jump.

The offense should be loaded next year, if Hurts can makes progress in the passing game, this should be Saban's best offense at Bama. They will have to carry the team early until the defense develops and gets experience.

Bama opens the season in Atlanta against Florida St and plays Frenso St, Colorado St and Mercer as nonconference opponents.

In the SEC, Bama has LSU, Tennessee, Arkansas and Ole Miss at home. They have Auburn, Texas A&M, Miss St and Vandy on the road.

The Florida St game will be tough, might be a 1 vs 2 matchup. Hopefully, FSU will lose a couple more players to the draft. If Bama wins that game, the rest of the schedule will get easier. Even a loss won't keep them out of the playoffs, I expect Bama and FSU to both make the playoffs next year.

The SEC will probably be down again. LSU and Auburn will be the toughest opponents, at Miss St might be a trap game. Bama should be finish 11-1 or 12-0 next year.

Georgia will likely be the SEC Championship Game opponent, win that game and Bama will be back in the playoffs for the 4th straight year.

I expect Bama, FSU, USC and Oklahoma to make the playoffs next year.
