If ever there was a true freshman OL ready to play upon arrival it's that beast from Booker T. Washington High out of Pensacola, Florida. Alex Leatherwood. I haven't seen a young man maul defenders like that since Andre Smith came out of Huffman. Beast.

Just look at a picture of him. He's almost 330 lbs. and has a flat stomach. With him being an early enrollee, I think he has a chance at RT.

Definitely. I think he is the best overall OL coming out of high school this year. My observations tell me he is a savage run blocker and would excel as a guard as well. Next year we will have more quality line depth than any Bama team I have seen. When guys like this may have to wait their turn then that speaks volumes. I just don't see a redshirt for this kid.

The outgoing dline always seems to talk up quinnen Williams when asked who's impressing them

I hear what you're saying about Leatherwood, but no way is he moving Jonah Williams out of the rotation. The guy is a well deserved consensus Freshman All-American. I think they either move Jonah to the left side and let Leatherwood move into the RT slot, or throw him right into the LT spot as a true Frosh the way we have done with Cam Rob. But JW will be on the field somewhere. No way around it.

Jonah will likely move to LT, he played some there this season. Don't count out Lester Cotton at RT. Who the hell knows who will play RG next year. Could Baker or Leatherwood play guard?

Yeah, I figured it was very clear that Jonah is our 5 star LT replacement, we just got him a year early.

1) Robert Foster is transferring
2) Doubt Casher is starter, keep an eye on Kennedy or Owens
3) Hump "should" come back....but probably won't.
4) Didn't see your 3rd WR listed (don't count out Simmons)
5) Q. Williams will be in the two-deep
6) Hall and Jennings will be a two-headed monster, splitting time and staying fresh
7) Buggs starts over Davis, but Davis in the field a lot in 4-3

That's one talented roster. Biggest concern is DL experience and depth...we really need to snag another stud or two in this class. That and Hamilton's recovery will be key for the front 7. Everything else looks stellar.

Scott and Hump should both come back IMO. We will see. Looking forward to seeing Hurts take the next step as a passer in 2017 behind that line and with those skill players.

Terrell Hall

I think he has the highest ceiling of anybody on the defensive side of the ball. He has a chance to be scary.

Rob Foster.

People are still seemingly enraptured by him.

I think its because we saw flashes last year before his injury. The talent is undeniable. Just hate to see it wasted if there's any way to utilize it.
