Does anyone know if the Matthews kid has a committable offer from Bama?

If Foster does flip I believe this will be the reason.

I've heard it both ways, but from everything I understand he doesnt have one. Some say it became clear to him a couple of weeks ago that UA no longer has any interest to him resulting in him saying he's no longer interested. Wiggins most definitely doesnt have an offer.

Saban has made it clear that he wont do package deals, and the tought of it seems to really piss him off. It's not Sabans style to allow a recruit to call the shots.

Other programs have to offer these deals, we dont.

If Langley doesn't have a committable offer, I doubt Matthews does. I'm sure he did at the start of the process, as many did, but as the spots shrink up many of those offers turn to conditional ones. (And I doubt Matthews cares anyway)

Matthews has been saying this stuff for months. This last article was so detailed that I'm starting to believe him more and more. But if they are talking about announcing when school starts, that's a lot of time. It's one thing telling your buddy on his moms couch that you're gonna play with him... It's another think walking into Nick Saban's office when you been committed for almost a year and telling him he ain't good enough. That campus is pretty persuasive especially when you see Championship pictures and rings and at Georgia you ain't gettin all that.

I think it's 51/49 Bama right now. Could def see RF at Georgia. This is why I'm intrigued with the Derrick Henry saga, because IMO, he is going to be one hell of a MLB. Not many guys that size that move like him and I would say he and RF are enigma’s. Either way, should be interesting.

Why does everyone think Matthews will move to LB. He is listed as 190-200.

Yeah he's huge. If he plays Safety at UGA then he'll definitely play LB at the next level, assuming he has the opportunity.

Yeah I thought he looked pretty thick but if he can play saftey around 220. Although he will probably blow up when he gets in a college workout program.

His brother was huge though coming out of High School. Not huge as in a Huge prospect but as in size.

That wasnt a package deal, we wanted him. But it was obvious from the beginning that he'd never qualify.

This. Keenan Allen tried this to get his halfbrother a scholly at Bama. Let em walk. The program is bigger than one recruit.

UGA leads with Mcneil. If he comes here, Hunter Henry to Bama.

Maybe he was going to commit to Bama but the staff wanted him to wait until Henry makes a decision?
