Would that mean trouble for Bama since there wasn't a tremendous pass rush? Also, would the Bama OL have some problems, making it hard for us to move the ball? (Nealy was giving Barrett Jones problems)
That would be a more interesting question. I think 2011 Alabama would be fine as long as they weren't hungover from playing a close game against a solid team the week before. 2011 Alabama's defense was better than 2012's. I must admit that 2012's defense was more tested, for they faced an on-target Manziel, a lights-on Mettenberger, and Aaron Murray.

2011? heck, I'm sure this years team could.
In fact with the way the game has changed in style, strategy and physique.... I think the 95 Cornhuskers are one of the only teams from 20 years ago that could be competitive today, let alone beat one of the best modern teams in the country.

The concern for me would be our LBs trying to catch Manziel.
How does 2011 Bama beat a team like 2013 FSU? A team that has a fast & talented defense like LSU, but also a very good offense with great WRs, good RBs, stout OL, and a heisman QB. Their fast defense would make it hard for our WRs to get open and tough for our RBs to get Into space?
