My first home game as an Alabama student. It was not a very memorable one. Mid-way through the 3rd quarter Alabama was only up 13-3 with an unremarkable 44 yards of total offense.

A win's a win though.

this was the first home game I attended of the saban era. (went to 07 iron bowl in au.) I was so damn pumped. it was a pretty big letdown given how we played, lol. I remember it was humid as hell, hot as hell, and stagnant as hell that day. peak swamp arse conditions. still had a great time. rtr.

Yeah this game was a real buzz kill given what Alabama had done a week earlier. Ugly, scrappy win vs a terrible and I mean TERRIBLE Tulane team.

If I remember correctly, Andre Smith was out due to an injury. The oline looked horrendous when he was out (Utah) and this game too.

This game had me worried that the Clemson game was an anomaly.

The first highlighted play was a punt.

The ONLY highlights were the punts. Javi returned one for a TD, almost broke another, and Bama blocked one for a TD.

Pretty much nothing else happened the entire game.

He and Marlon Davis were both out for the Tulane game. It showed.

That was good Bama team in 08, just didn't have a lot of depth. Luckily, they didn't have many major injuries. Also helped that the SEC was down that year.
