If there was still a question as to whether or not Alabama would be a force in the SEC in 2008, that question was put to rest by their performance against Georgia in Athens.
Colin Cowherd was trolling Saban and Alabama back then as well. He said that if the Tide managed to go into Athens and beat Georgia, Saban should be considered the greatest coach of all-time.
I guess he forgot that little statement.

I think this is my favorite away gameI attended. I had fun in Athens, but man UGA fans talked shite the whole game.

this is just behind the 99 Swamp win for me. sat with 3 dawg pals who talked constant trash for years about uga winning titles and bama being a has been.
i sat with them because they insisted even though my ticket was elsewhere in the stadium. after stating multiple times this was a bad idea, i relented. they wanted to see me suffer, because there was nooooo way we were coming into athens during a blackout game and winning.
well kickoff happens and we dont speak the entire first half until one of them finally said at halftime 'f$CK you'
and i remember that rammer jammer sounding like a choir of bullfrogs because everyone had lost their voice. took me a few days at work to sound normal again but it was totally worth it.
