2006 Alabama vs. Florida Highlights

Alabama played a great game against the eventual national champs. The score was 14-13 late into the game until turnovers killed us.

I remember Alabama being up 10-0 at halftime, Prince Hall had a fumble return for a touchdown, Mike Shula losing his mind trying to call a timeout right before John Parker Wilson threw an interception. The offense left the defense out to dry so damn much during the Shula years. It was frustrating.

After we went up 10-0 all of us in the Alabama section were yelling "Shula 41, Meyer 3". I also talked to then assistant basketball coach Phillip Pearson in line to walk into the game that day. Sure nice guy.

Those Florida uniforms were better looking than anything else they had worn before or since.

Was it still 10-0 when Simeon Castille(I think) dropped that sure pick 6? That's about the only play I remember from that game.

I went back to our tailgate on the quad and watched two MSU fans beat the shite out of an obnoxious Bama fan that was at our tailgate. He was a friend of a friend. I was sad I didn't get to beat his arse.
