Hi all,
I am hoping to get some advice from you all regarding ticket procedures for Alabama games. I just graduated college out West and I am visiting a buddy with another friend in Nashville in October. I go to a lot of football games but have never been to an SEC game and figured where better to experience it than Tuscaloosa. We are planning on going to the Tennessee game and are trying to figure out the best way to get tickets. Will Alabama release any more online or are those already sold out? Also they're available on stubhub right now for under 200. is this a fair price? or are there better deals out there? as the date gets closer I would love to hear more about some game day must do's and what not. I appreciate everyone's help and I hope that I can get a taste of some good southern football.
Thank you!

Definitely check out the Tuscaloosa thread stickies at the top. I don't think they will release anymore tickets but call the ticket office to find out.
As far as the secondary market goes, I really have no clue.

Tickets for the game have long been sold out.
Depending on how the next couple of weeks go for both TN and Bama, the aftermarket prices may come down a little but TN is THE old school rival so I doubt they come down much.
The best prices are usually found in the last 20 minutes before kick-off while walking the edge of the Quad toward the stadium. At that time the scalpers are trying to unload whatever they have in their hands.

No offense, but how in the hell did you get access to our board with zero posts?

If you want 3 tickets together, I would probably buy them online. If you don't mind being separated, I would buy them 20 minutes before kickoff right in front of the stadium.

If I've been to 50 Alabama games I've been to 35 without tickets, and that's just because I was given tickets to the others.
I've never paid more than $100 for a ticket to a game by getting them outside the stadium before kickoff. This includes a few iron bowls, numerous big games with lsu, the opener against Florida a year ago, and the Playoff against OSU. Yes, I bought a ticket on Bourbon street to the second ever college football playoff game for $100
If you go this route (the best route) don't buy from scalpers. Look for the people that legitimately have extra tickets to sell, either because they were given tickets or had people back out on going. This is where you score cheap tickets, scalpers are just trying to ream your wallet. It's easier than you would think to spot these people.
You have to be patient though. Don't panic an hour before kickoff because you don't have a ticket. I promise you that a guy would rather sell a ticket for face value than have an unused ticket

Thanks for all the input guys I really appreciate it! Sounds like buying them at the stadium would normally be the best move but considering I'm flying across the country from Oregon and we all wanted to sit together I may end up paying a little extra to buy them online. As far as access to the board they just asked me why I wanted to post and I said exactly what I wanted to ask you guys. Again, thank you for the input and good luck to y'all the rest of the season!

This is all good information to know. I'm trying to find Iron Bowl tickets and never knew the best way to find them.
