I don’t personally know anything about this kid, but losing all 3 pretty good outfielders this year, we need some dudes!

2 are gone for sure.

Georgia is only 13 away from passing the 188 HR record set by LSU in 1997, only you haven’t heard about it every 5 minutes like Tennessee fans in 2024 because Tennessee baseball fans are dumb fricks

I don’t think that resonates as much in college baseball being Wichita State, Cal State Fullerton, Fresno State and Coastal each won titles before Tennessee ever did.

That was not dumb. That was delusional.

LSU had a rough year, no doubt. If you have watched baseball for a long time I think you can see why LSU fans would be confident the team can go on crazy streaks. Your success with the new coach is great though, enjoy it before a real program like Arkansas scoops him up when DVH retires.

Why do LSU fans idolize Steven Milam like they do? He is a good player, but not great. Undersized and slow. A borderline .300 hitter with average power. But if you listen to an LSU fan he is a mix of Ozzie Smith and Ernie Banks.

Find me another SEC or ACC shortstop that made 4 errors starting every game this year, (5 last year on NC starting every game) and walks more than he strikes out.

Oh really? Tell us when you win a national title (2010), play for two national titles in a four year period (2010. & 2013), and win seven SEC Titles in a 31-year period (1983, 1987, 1988, 1989, 2004, 2010, 2013).

Don’t tell Ole Miss fans anything your football team or any sport has accomplished, or else you are living in the past (a past like Ole Miss football who hasn’t won the SEC in the modern era or a national title since the 1960s).

The past few years of success Ole Miss has had are the only metrics to ever be considered. It’s not recency bias or anything

Don’t smile because it’s over, smile because it happened. Saban is a bad mfer and did amazing things at Alabama

Just say you’re scared of reverting back to 21st century Ole Miss
LSU and Auburn not playing annually is stupid as frick. Probably the most underrated game of the pre 14 team expansion bullshite where we let the Yankees and Longhorn stepbrothers in.
I know you’ll hate to hear this because this was a disaster season, but after getting Hood and Park LSU only needs about 2-3 more portal pitchers and 2-3 outfielders/hitters to be a championship level team. They aren’t getting 15 guys out the portal this year.

Not many teams will be returning bats or arms with experience like Arrambide, Serna, Braun, Ruckert, Schmidt, Moore, Evans and Paz.

Didn’t an Alabama fan destroy a 100+ year old historic oak tree because he was mad about a game?
Will just give LSU a head start on the portal, hopefully Georgia can figure it out and win it all in your lifetime
 enjoy the season, if your dawgs don’t win it all they’ll remain a one hit wonder

They are mad and throwing at our heads

Yes that’s exactly what the leader in the SEC in HBP and Walks is trying to do in a must win game.

What's changing between now and then?

Well for one a large overhaul of the pitching staff and they’ll pull an ace out the portal. The pitching staff while garbage was also incredibly young except for Zac Cowan.

They’ll have Casen Evans (minor arm injury two weeks ago) and William Schmidt back, who have had struggles but you can see have elite stuff-just hasn’t been consistent like an ace. They are both projected round 1 2027 picks.

Cooper Moore who was primed for a good season as the Saturday starter will be back. He suffered an arm injury against Oklahoma and was held out for the year.

Replace in the field Curiel and Brown, who are your most polished players. You already lost Brown 3 weeks ago.

4 true freshmen and 2 true sophomores have been starting almost daily since Brown went down, and the offense has been really good.

Realistically, the entire infield will be back (possibly Milam), they’ll be replacing a center and right fielder who are very good though.

However, the combo of Arrambide and Serna in the 3-4 hole likely give you the most pop of any team in the nation next season. They’ll add some guys too of course. I’m just hoping they add say 2-3 really good guys in the field and 2-3 really good pitchers and not just add bodies like this past year when the true freshmen were all better than the transfers.

It’s really amazing that the offense since Brown went down became one of the best and most consistent in the SEC but not a single bullpen guy on the team had any consistency and balls.

Well, except Cowan.
It’s amazing how many 3+ run leads the team has blown in SEC play
