nah, not this time around, for a lot of reasons.
Primarily because Karmelo doens't have a case, at all. It's a slam dunk for the prosecution. Also, I think there's very little appetite for that overall because of the already ongoing fatigue.
Not to mention the machine doesn't seem really interested in this situation as compared to what we've seen in the past. If that was going to happen the media would be covering this 24/7 to spin the narrative and they would already have bussed in dozens of outside white progressive anarachist / antifa types to literally and figurately pour gasoline on the fire.
Plus as others have mentioned. This is Texas, not Minnesota. Abbott/Paxton will do everything in their power to prevent that. One hint of a riot or violence and you'll see half the Texas National Guard get deployed over night.

This is the new American Dream.
It’s no longer just the belief that anyone can improve their life through hard work, personal responsibility, and determination.
Now, for a lot of families it is work hard, take responsibility, make good decisions, have quite a bit of luck along the way .... and hopefully earn enough money to put as much distance as possible between your family and the violence and disorder everyone is told not to notice.
And even then, the payoff is temporary. Ignore the rot long enough, and today’s safe, peaceful neighborhood becomes tomorrow’s place people are trying to get away from.
