my wonderfully, beautiful lady friend is snowed in 100 miles away! Sucks. Maybe I will sip this Jefferson Reserve and have a Sons of Anarchy marathon. Best I can do right now.

I hate winter. Got to get back to the deep South!

Anybody else snowbound?

We're iced in down here. At least you can get out and play in the white stuff if you so desire.

It's windy here. No snow, no rain, just wind. It'll be a nightmare to cross the river though as it always is.

Nope. Got out this morning when I needed a pack of smokes and the roads were decent. Now all the main and secondary roads are clear with most residential areas mostly cleared.

Yep, snowed in. I had to shovel a place for the dogs to do their business. I also dug out my truck but the street hasn't been cleared enough yet. At least it's going to warm up next week.

I had to do the same thing. Dogs got me up at 5am to go out side. I pushed on the storm door and it wouldn't budget. I had to push it open and scoop snow out of the way, get a shovel and dig a path. All before I had a cup of coffee. Rough start to my morning.

No, they're both Rat Terriers. Jacky, the black and white Rat is 14 and Sparky is 11. They live an average of 18-20 years. Really sweet dogs. Not hyper at all like Jack Russels.

They don't like kids at all. They're scared of them. Probably because kids tend to be unpredictable. Otherwise, they're the perfect pet. Very clean.

That's their English name. They originated from Manchester Terriers and Fox Terriers in England.

President Teddy Roosevelt made them popular in the US by using them to de-rat the White House, thus the name Rat Terrier. They should probably be used to de-rat Congress, too.

Another name for them is Teddybear Terriers, after President Roosevelt.
