Do you believe in aliens?

This is kinda a spinoff thread. I'm sure it has been talked about on here, but I couldn't find much searching for it. So who believes in aliens? Any stories?

One of my best friends swears he saw a space ship on multiple nights while stationed in Fallujah. Said an oblong craft with 5 or 6 lights around it would come a couple miles outside his base in the middle of nowhere (says he went out there often just to get away) and hover as if it were patrolling. On one night he claims it was basically a couple hundred feet in front of him and about a thousand feet in the air. Every time he saw it, he said it would stick around 10 minutes or so and then ascend straight up until he couldn't see it. He's never been the type to exaggerate or lie about stories, so I trust him. I also had to force the story out of him as he almost felt stupid even telling it.

First thought that went through my head was that he went a little crazy while he was over there, but he swears he saw it three nights in a row before telling anyone because he thought he was crazy himself. After the third night he decided to bring an Air Force engineer to see if he could tell him what it was. The engineer went with him on occasion and finally one night the air craft appeared while the he was there. He had no clue what it was, and according to my friend the engineer was more freaked out over it than him.
