I mean there's Bartow with his opinion, but then there's multiple 247 insiders conflicting that, saying that AU was all-out for him and were surprised they didn't get him. Not saying you're wrong, just throwing the ole' "idk bout dat"
Bama I can't speak for. I think over the past 2 weeks they expected to flip Drew Richmond and also to hold on to Prince. But to say grades will stop Alabama from recruiting someone is empirically false.

The bottom line is we've just gone through this with Trevonte Valentine and mistakes were made that could have allowed him to qualify. If this Chidi is in better shape academically, then it won't be as big of an issue getting him qualified and Trevonte did not have to go to JUCO.

So he went to Valentine's school (Champagnet) for 1 year after moving from Africa, then moved to play for a small school in Georgia. I'd try to apply words like "junior season" and "senior season", to that, but who the frick knows, haha.

I can't speak for UA and AU as both teams continued recruiting him and showing interest post Georgia but we definitely backed off. Our Mods basically said stop talking about him because he had no chance of getting into Georgia because people kept asking about him after his initial interest when he moved to Georgia.

I'll eat some crow because I didn't see it happening, especially since his school was apparently raided by federal immigration officials recently, but congratulations. He's big time. Obviously the federal raid didn't concern transcripts, but it's an "ongoing investigation" as Cam would say.
