I know 98% of Bama fans are just completely apathetic to basketball, but is this his last straw this year? Looks like he will miss the tournament for the 5th time in his 6 years at Bama and the 1 tourney appearance was a 1 and done. Hard to believe this is his sixth season already there. I know recruiting wouldn't save him as he only has 3 commits for 2015 and none of them are 4 or 5-stars, no Top 100 players.

98% are not apathetic. And yes he needs to be fired.

He's not leaving Dayton for Bama…step down and the Flyers will match what Bama is willing to pay him.

I'd guess we will go after White at La Tech.

However if we go 18-12 and go to thw NIT I wouldn't be shocked if we brought him back. I have no faith in Battle to ax him. None.

Dayton isn't even paying him that much this year. Bama can throw the bank and I guarantee you Dayton won't keep him.

Yea - people forget that Grant was *THE* hot coach for 2 years before we got him from VCU. That was a coup. Nobody thought we had a shot to get him.

Still makes me sad how badly it all went.

Sad part he was the best candidate on the market. Gtech got that coach from Dayton.

Yep, Gregory has been a total disaster at Tech. He will be getting fired this year as well.

And you know this how? He signed an extension last year and it was not disclosed of the details of the contract to the public.

I am sure Bama will throw bank, but do not under estimate the power of the Dayton backers…there are plenty of them…they have a history…they will match what Bama is throwing. Miller is waiting for a big time program to open up and make a move like his brother did.

Tech should be able to hire a top level guy. ACC, Atlanta, tradition, new facilities, etc. I was shocked when hired Gregory. His resume was seriously meh at Dayton.

The right guy there can win some games.

Quite frankly I'm not sold on Lil Miller. His resume is up and down and he is at a school that has won for years. I definitley wouldn't get in a bidding war for him.

It's all over the Internet. If not Archie, then I'm sure Bama will find someone. Maybe even give a hotshot assistant a chance. There's always a great coach waiting to be hired. Besides all of the "big" jobs are settled for now unless ucla or IU makes a move.

He got Dayton to 16, im sold. It's like the harbaugh brothers but according to UK fan he's waiting for UK to open up. He might have to get in line behind brad Stevens.

LOL, what? UCLA and IU are on the hook with Alford and Crean…they signed those bozos with stupid contracts that would cost them an arm and a leg to get rid of them, and they sure in the hell don't have that cash laying around. Plus, Crean is keeping the seat warm until Stevens is ready to bolt from Boston.

Is there really anything available out there right now though? I wouldn't go by way of the VCU route again either.
