NFL is the only thing LSU can brag about considering how abysmal their football teams have been of late. Just goes to show you how terrible Les is as a coach. Has an all pro WR and a starting NFL QB on the same team and couldn't finish any better than 3rd in the west

Keep in mind that he was a complete pass away from beating the greatest coach in the history of the world with the youngest team we've had in over a decade.

I can agree with that.

Crazy LSU finished 3rd in the SEC West with Zach Mett, Jeremy Hill, O'dell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry...all on offense.

Let him do it more than one year though. Very impressive considering though. No one wastes more offensive talent than does lsu.

Why do Gumps post this dumb shite?

The defense is what let us down, the offense performed great

Mett = 3000 yard passer
Hill = 1400 yard rusher
OBJr and Landry = 1000+ yard receivers

Because it's true. These guys get in the league and do great.

But at LSU they look lost with your dead offense.

LSU's offense did something last year that no team has ever done in the SEC.

Scoreboard reflects the bad D. Its a shame our offense and defense can never seem to sync up, in terms of quality.

That 2013 offense broke records. School, SEC, and national.

sounds like by "turning into" he means not even remotely close but someday, might be...

When did he pick on Tyrann Mathieu again? Mathieu's last year was 2011 and Norwood didn't do anything in 2010 and 2011.

he did aight in that game they played in new orleans

You never know. Norwood could even muster double digit receptions next year.

But we're not talking about individual games. You said LSU's offense was dead. It is and has been but not last year.

"I talked to one of my guys on the inside about specific guys on our team and this is what he had to say about certain players.

1. Cooper- He's the fastest guy on the team, and the fastest football player he's seen in pads. He said Sylve is a close 2nd. He said that Cooper has Dante' Stallworth type football speed. He said that Lane Kiffin said that after that touchdown against Tennessee on the first play from scrimmage, that Lane said that he's never seen a guy move so fast before on the football field. He said what makes Cooper so tough to defend is that he breaks the db's cushion so fast that the db doesn't have time to react. Cooper never breaks stride and is simply impossible to cover one-on-one. He said that Cooper is the best wide receiver that he's even seen in person and this guy played big time football.

2. Robert Foster - He said that Robert Foster is big time! Reminds him of Coop, but a little bit bigger. He said that Foster has some wheels on him. In bowl prep about a week ago, Foster caught a dig route and took it to the house. He thought that it was Cooper at first because they looked similar, but was shocked when he realized that it was Foster. He said one Foster grows up, he's going to be big time. He just needs another off season of maturity. Keep in mind, he's just a kid. A redshirt freshman. He said the same thing about Tyren Jones. All the talent in the world, he just needs to continue to grow up and earn the trust of the coaches.

3. Ardarius Stewart - He's our next big playmaker. He described him with two words "playmaker" "explosive"

4. Chris Black - "very solid" "smooth"

5. Cam Sims - "Will be a big time receiver for us" He's more shifty then he expected and he is simply a very big WR that's silky smooth and a very good route runner. He expects Sims to be next in line along with Stewart and Foster.

6. Kief - He "Mosses" guys in practice everyday. The kid is underrated and will be a redzone nightmare for teams. Keep an eye on him for a possible impact."
................................................
Sounds like the streak will continue for a while.

I am sure they are all really good, but your boy may be a little bias.

Also there isn't a streak if you put out Julio Jones in 2010 and Cooper in 2014.

Ask LSU fans about Kevin Norwood. Dude was a Tiger Killer.

Reminds me of how Josh Reed used Alabama to set an SEC record for both receptions and yards with 19 catches for 293 yards.

Hard to think of a WR owning a team any better than Josh Reed owned Bama.
