Definitely possible. I like his offense, but his defenses have been sub-par against sub-par competition. Better than Freeze at least.

Why? He has all the talent in the world at ND and can't win, why would he be any different then the Chump?

They don't have near the talent florida has at their disposal, and he was in the national title game 2 years ago.

Uf has still recruited better in the last 5 years.

He would be a great hire for Florida I think. He simply doesn't have the talent at ND that they used to bring in.

Um, the worst recruiting rank Notre Dame has had in the last 3 years is 11th. How the frick is this not considered to be "enough talent to win".

He also had a class that finished 18th in the rankings. I don't believe any team in the BCS era won a NC without a top 5 class. Kelly has 1 at ND but they are just sophomores at this point.

Kelly's first full class was 2011
2011 - 9
2012 - 18
2013 - 5 (sophomores)
2014 - 11
Average - 10.75

Let's look at UF over the same time.
2011 - 12
2012 - 4
2013 - 3
2014 - 9
Average - 7

Not an enormous difference but a big enough difference over the course of a class cycle that it matters.

I think B Kelly knows he peaked and it will be really difficult to get back to what he did a few years ago. I have said before that once Golson is gone, I could see him go job shopping. Problem is, if he has another mediocre year, his stock will drop.

Foley said he wanted a high integrity man, I think killing a kid rules out Brian Kelly

Notre Dame loses considerably more than they should given their schedule.

debatable. but BK has beaten everyone on Cincinnati's schedule when he was there. He's made it near the top with ND a few years back (with mainly Weiss's players).

IMO, he's a good corch and would be much better than Boom for UF
