Don't sell him short, that wasn't a "normal" one handed catch. He plucked a 50 yard pass out of midair with three fingers and the ball never so much as moved.

Yep, the gloves they use these days have a good bit to do with the 1 handed catches.

Have you ever even played football before? Even with those gloves, the amount of dexterity required to pull in a ball with 3 frickING FINGERS and never juggle/put the other hand on the ball is fricking amazing.

There is a high school video with probably the sickest catch i have ever seen.
its right in from to the camera. He is falling out of bounds, plants a foot, and as soon as the ball hits one hand, you just watch the rotation stop. the think just stuck.

And to add to my earlier post, at the angle he's catching at, dude can't even see the ball. That's pure athleticism to have the reflexes to have something hit your hands and snap your fingers around it.
