It looks to be trending towards Tennessee right now. They may finish 8-5 with their current play, while LSU limps to a potential 7-6.

Funny how that works, with all the nashing of teeth over permanent cross divisional games this past summer.

Wait Tennessee is in the West? So you're conparing their records when they're in different divisions?

One team was hot when the game was played while one team sucked. Pretty simple answer here.

Not a serious thread, but Tennessee's best win is over South Carolina.

I'm fairly certain Tennessee has a more difficult schedule, per every single source you could possibly cite.

Sagrin's schedule strength ranking has TN's 3rd in the country and LSU's 4th so they are pretty identical.

Not a serious thread,
Tennessee would be beat LSU at a neutral site this weekend.

OU is overrated. I'll give you playing at UGA, but LSU played Ole Miss and Alabama as well and played them exponentially better than Tennessee did. South Carolina and Kentucky are mediocre and is more than likely the basis of this troll thread anyway.

LSU's and Tennessee's SOS ranking are almost the same. Sagarin has Tennessee #3 and LSU at #4. I really don't see a huge difference between either schedule.

Glad you sound certain.

Fair enough for me to state that Arkansas would've beaten Tennessee at home last weekend as well. Would that influence your dynamic?

I think LSU would be a 3 to 6 point favorite on a neutral field to TN right now.

It would be a good game but LSU is a bit better.

Yeah, I don't think LSU would run UT out of the stadium, UT could very well win given LSU's attitude since Alabama barely beat them (go figure).
