I went to MSU and did my grad work at LSU, and I have a friend hat went to Ole Miss and has an MBA from MSU, and another Ole Miss/MSU friend.

My wife has a friend that went to MSU and then law school at Ole Miss. All four of these cheer for their undergraduate schools, but don't have an absolute hatred for their graduate school.

Not talking about "fans" that went to another school. There was a poster on here that was an Alabama fan that went to MSU. He sucks and I hope he has a bad week.

This will go down as the shortest thread in the history of the rant.

I cannot think of an SEC school with adequate academic standards to have caused me to submit my law school application.

Going to Austin was enough of a step down.

Sure. Its still an odd occurrence. Considering that only 5% of the populace have graduate degrees, I figure this is a pretty odd thing. Most everyone I know that has done graduate school either (a) went to the same place they did their undegrad, (b) went to a convenient smaller school (e.g. move to Nashville and go to MTSU), or (c) Went completely different. Like UT-Austin or Cal-Berkeley.

I got accepted to Alabama law school, but ultimately did not attend. Kinda wish I had though; might go back one day.
