Why did I receive a ban and an LSU fan does something similar but no ban?

Case in point...
I made a comment in a thread about Dee Ford wearing Derrick Thomas' jersey number from college.
I said "I hope Dee Ford wears a seatbelt." I was banned for over a month. It was distasteful, but how do I know where to draw the line?
Here is a thread started the other day. I just want to know why favoritism is shown on this website?
He then takes a shot at Chucky Mullins

because LSU fans are baby-back bitches here and IRL and require special attention from the admins who know some of the worst posters IRL.

Pro-LSU bias.
I was banned for two months for saying I hope someone gets cancer.
A certain LSU poster, during my ban, told another poster "I literally hope you die in a car crash"
No ban. Get used to it.

I even emailed the admins asking how it was any different.
Of course, I didn't get a response. I respect the admins and they do a good job, but the rules seem to change daily and aren't enforced equally. It's their site, but it's a little telling. I don't see why the Team Board admins can't elect a "captain" to police the rant along with an LSU admin.
Just a thought.

Clearly there's no LSU bias at play here. I guess they're okay with the LSU posters acting with no class.

IMO, Ice Cold and Rummy do a great job. I've interacted most with them throughout my time here and Ice Cold is generally very thorough with any kind of banning he hands out. I never even get a response from Chicken in the reinstatement threads, though. Why, I have no clue.
