Really when your team gets destroyed, trying to claim a moral victory of a crowd support is stupid. Learn from UK, because you are the new UK.

Because you won't be back for 15 years and your fanbase wanted to see the grove. We have 2 more home games that are bigger. It was still one of the largest crowds in stadium history.

No we're not. UK would never bring that many fans

I've heard several Tennessee fans today claim it was 1/3.

I failed to pay attention myself.

They are claiming 1/3 attendance because they failed to even muster a 1/3 of a rushing yard.

They had 10-12. Not bad considering their season but Tennessee always has traveled well.

Apparently their 61,000 is way more intimidating than your 102,000

We got our asses kicked. It doesn't matter what color the stadium was. Theres literally noting positive to draw from this game other than that our defense played pretty well for the first half. But when our offense turns it over a bunch and gives the opponet the ball inside our half you can't really do much

There were honestly a ton of UT fans there

I don't think it was 1/3 but it might've been 1/4....I was pretty wasted though can't remember exactly

Someone said UT was on fall break so that might've contributed to it

Can't blame the folks from Memphis coming down to watch the game. Thanks for supplying some great fan gifs.

Oxford's vicinity to Memphis and other parts of Tennessee. I know a lot of UT fans that headed down there for the game from Memphis.

That's not what Spurrier said after his visit to Neyland last year.
