Just win baby.
Just win baby.

Are we? Baylor lost, so that would put us at 6. ND barely lost so I couldn't see them dropping below us.

Not really Dame lost. They drop. That's how it works.

Big Picture:
If ND wins out they will be very hard to keep out of the playoff...TV audience and all.
And no way SEC gets a 2nd team in playoff in that scenario.

They lost, we beat a ranked team 59-0.
We'll be above them.

This
1 loss Bama > ND and Oregon and tOSU or whoever.
The dynasty has earned us that.
However I believe winning out gets us the sec title anyway. Just think among @LSU, AU, and MSU the rebs find 2 losses.

Would be a very interesting scenario if Bama and Ole Miss win out. As well as FSU, ND and other conference champs.
Ole Miss would be in as SEC Champ
FSU would be in as ACC Champ
2 spots left for a
ND team with 1 loss to FSU
Bama with 1 loss to an undefeated Ole Miss
And other conference champs

Why it needs to be expanded to 8 teams

Or Miss St. loses to us and wins out, thereby beating OM. Hopefully UF gets itself out of the dumpster so that we can win the tiebreaker.
Right now our cross divisionals are at 2 SEC wins. (UF with UT and UK)
Miss St.'s is at 2 SEC wins (UK with Vandy and USCe)
OM's is at 0 SEC wins.
I am going to hope that UF can at least beat Vandy and UT can as well. Believe it or not, the UT vs UK game might have SECCG implications.... for us. We just need UF to finish better than UK and we are in.

NDs not winning out IMO

This would be best...and quite possible if the ND that played North Carolina shows up.

Yall keep in mind, these polls are just window dressing now. Gotta see what the mindset of the playoff committee is like when they release their first poll.

That's amazingly selfish and stupid. I don't want the football season to be meaningless like basketball.

This was the same idiotic reasoning for not going to 4 teams and this season has shown this couldn't be further from the truth.
