Do you think this will impact game attendance?

won't be many LSU fans there

Yes, it will. Us as fans can't really complain though. Alleva is bringing back night games so a thanksgiving game is just a bullet we'll have to bite.

It certainly won't help. I know personally, I want to see a game at Kyle field, but will likely never be able to see LSU there if it is always on Thanksgiving.
Its a shame, but oh well. I will still root them on the same.

Playing a game on thanksgiving? Guess as long as we are playing turkeys like A&M it is ok

Bert would probably rather be eating as it is Thanksgiving, and Bert is fat. Turkeys and mashed potatoes will be hiding that week.

I think it is an Honor to play on Thanksgiving and I like our rivalry with A&M

On one hand I look forward to being back in LA and watching the game with the entire family
On the other hand I'll never make the trip, so that sucks
Overall a bad idea IMO but not to the point where it actually bothers me

The Turkey Day game with t.u. was tradition, and both sides actually looked forward to it. Most families had a few folks in each camp, and the family meal was a great excuse to watch the game together and give each other some good-natured Hell, especially for those not traveling to the game (which IS the vast majority, after all).
We do not (yet) share that history with LSU, so I can understand why so many Tigers are not wild about the concept. Add to that the fact that this game will likely never include the element of many, many divided families.
I am part of a loose-knit group of TAMU and LSU fans who know one another through a series of business contacts. Last year, five TAMU couples traveled to LA for the game, and our friends threw a huge party for us on the preceding night. On game day, we tailgated together under both flags and had a lot of fun, despite the nasty weather and the drubbing of the Aggies.
On Sunday, we left town with everyone saying "next year in College Station," but I don't believe that our LSU friends were thinking about the Thanksgiving issue.
The TAMU contingent had been planning the party and tailgate for the return engagement, but our Tiger friends recently told us that none of them would be making the trip. We were disappointed, but we understand. Family trumps football.

We should not play on Thanksgiving - or Black Friday either.

I think it hurts the matchup/ rivalry. If they had it on Friday or Saturday then it's much easier to pull off.

I will never attend a thanksgiving game.
I won't even sell my tickets. If they try thar stupidness here, I want empty seats. Worst idea ever.
Some schools can, it becomes a tradition. LSU fans want nothing to do with it.

In College Station, sure. I like the national exposure.
In Baton Rouge, no thanks.

I'm fine with it as long as it's road years only.
Want zero to do with it in TS on Thanksgiving but I despised the whole Arky-LSU Black Friday BS CBS made up rival crap
at least there is some real dislike between the two fanbases in this case, the black friday stuff, meh

Sounds like a great group last year in BR, 86.
My wife is from Houston and has a large contingent of A&M cousins. And strange as it still is for me to say, my sister is an A&M graduate. In our case, I actually think we could adapt to and embrace the Thanksgiving night game in CS by celebrating the holiday in Texas every other year. But, obviously we're in the extreme minority in that regard.
