1. Will Conley's torn labrum/ sprained MCL force Bennett back to the outside? I love Bennett in the slot, but am not sure that he will be as effective of Conley is hobbled or out.

2. Is Reggie Davis going to return punts again? Every time he's back I get incredibly nervous and that fumble (we got very lucky their defender got too close) last week does not give me any confidence.

I loved the way the Dawgs played inspired football last week, but is there a good chance that one of these things costs us this week?

Both Davis and McKenzie make me nervous returning punts as they have both made questionable decisons.

But at least McKenzie's upside is better as he is a legit threat to return a punt to the house if he catches it cleanly. So let him do it.

Leave Bennett at slot and put an offensive lineman in Conley's spot. Same production.

Everything I have read is stating that Conley is fine and practicing and will play. Or was Emerson wrong?

Everything I've seen has said the same too.

I didn't see what Emerson said, but I know that he has a torn labrum and a sprained MCL. I just figured that would be nearly impossible to play effectively with.

Reports indicated that he practiced fine this week and not in a green jersey.

He's had the labrum issue all season as far as I know. That's why he's been wearing the brace because of the subluxation (that almost certainly caused the labrum injury to begin with).

If it's just a mild MCL sprain he will be alright, I assume lack of green jersey means they aren't worried about it.

But yea, at a certain point you would think the injuries would affect him some, may be a little hesitant to stretch out for one, etc.

He has been wearing that for quite a while, right? No new news here...

Surely must be Richt, McGarity, and Gurley's fault. Fire Courson!

I knew the labrum issue isn't knew because he tore that before the season started, but I also thought MCL sprains could be troublesome (I had one in high school and was out 6 weeks). Appreciate the knowledge and hope he's at full strength for the game!

Yea you're right that MCL sprains can be troublesome but the MCL is not as important for stability as the ACL and PCL. It just depends on the degree of the sprain. That's why I figured by him not being in green, that Courson and co. must not be too worried about it.

From everything I gathered, that hit was not much more than a bruise and that he was practicing hard with no indications of any injury.

Yea that's how I understood it from what I had read too. He came back into the game but was a little too sore to finish it. But sounds like he has been practicing fine with no limitations this week.
