ISIS?
Makes sense:
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is ramping up its response to West Africa's Ebola crisis, preparing to assign 3,000 U.S. military personnel to the afflicted region to supply medical and logistical support to overwhelmed local health care systems and to boost the number of beds needed to isolate and treat victims of the epidemic.
President Barack Obama planned to announce the stepped-up effort Tuesday during a visit to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta amid alarm that the outbreak could spread and that the deadly virus could mutate into a more easily transmitted disease.
The new U.S. muscle comes after appeals from the region and from aid organizations for a heightened U.S. role in combating the outbreak blamed for more than 2,200 deaths.

As soon as some American soldier sent to Africa comes down with Ebola, and it will happen...the shite storm will get real.
As for ISIS, I continue to believe in the power of carpet bombing.

Why is this a bad thing? I thought the stratagy for ISIS is to use less human force and rely heavily on drones and other non-human forces.
How many troops would you send to ISIS?

If Obama were to send 500,000 troops to fight ISIS you and other Obama haters would bitch about it just like you are now.

Do you think they are the same type of "troops" being sent to both places?

Ebola is a massively bigger threat than ISIS.

Honestly, Ebola scares me a lot more than ISIS.

i don't see this as a big issue. we aren't going to beat ISIS with ground troops. Securing what the WHO is doing with Ebola is a big issue. We're going to beat ISIS with carpet bombs and hearts and minds not boots on the ground. They aren't fighting the Republican Guard or Taliban this time.
And i think Obama has a terrible foreign policy, but criticizing on this is dumb.

Then let Europe, the Middle East and other African nations take care of it. They're in much closer proximity.
