UGA can't be happy about that. Sleepy early kick after crushing loss and Troy clearly bodes well for Vawls.

Noon kick in a game without much buzz. Probably won't mean anything, but definitely not the gametime you want for a game that won't have any excitement for you and tons for the other team.

What do you mean won't have any excitement? The past three games between UT and UGA have been close, hard fought games. Obviously we've lost all three, but UGA has only won by 8, 7, and 3

I mean that UGA people aren't going to be revved up to play what they see as an inferior Tennessee at noon.

It's UT. The fans are always up for this game regardless of the time slot.

I hope you're right. That would bode well for us.

His formula is exactly what happened to SC last year.

I'm not new to Noon kicks and how wacky and weird they can be, and how much they can damper the atmosphere or really take advantage of one team being sluggish.

Have you ever watched a UGA/UT game?

I never want my team to play a solid, yet unspectacular team in a trap game at Noon. Ever. It's a recipe for disaster.

I guess we'll see how the crowd is. I think you're seriously underestimating the hate between these two fanbases though.

Not to stick up for the gump, but he's right.

Yes, obviously it's a big game against a big east team. The fans will be there. But you're crazy if you think the noise level/atmosphere will be the same as if it were at 3:30 or at night. It's not just UGA either, it happens to everyone. Hell, one of our biggest upsets in the Richt era was a national title contending Auburn team when we sucked. That game was in auburn at noon.

Not saying it'll affect our gameplay, or the outcome...just saying it won't be as crazy as it COULD be if it were later. That's all.
