Ok, let's get ready to yell our asses off while our boys battle the mighty Owls of Rice!

AGGY Math!

With a victory on Saturday, A&M's winning percentage against Rice (51-27-3) will surpass that of A&M vs Baylor (68-31-9). The 52nd win will nudge the % vs Rice just past 63%.

Google News!

Story Time !

Once upon a time the Rice MOB made a bunch of Aggy mad by acting like poopy jerk heads. Aggy gave the MOB what for and chased them to a closet.

Fin

Predictions!

Magnolia League title defense begins with a bang as TAMC defeats the Owls 59-23.

Not eating rice all week out of pure spite.

Which sucks, cuz I only get one chance a week at a quesarito from Taco Bell.

Shuddap, it's the closest thing that'll pass for Mexican food up here

Can't use my scoring offense vs scoring defense method until week 4.

I like the 59. I don't see "What comes out of a Chinaman's arse?" scoring 23. I think Myles Garrett goes off with a record-setting performance and Daeshon Hall won't be far behind on pass rush, with Deshazor and/or Armani getting another pick. Or three. Jordan, Jay, Zaycoven and Alonzo shut down the run. Speedy gets a punt or kickoff return for TD. By the second half Rice will HAVE to pass and allow Mr. Garrett to pad his stats. No way those smartasses score 23.

It is written.

I enjoyed the Aggy Math bit, though. Well done. I'd have thought the win % vs. Rice was well ahead of Baylor by now. But as old as I am I'm young, compared to A&M football. Rice was a badass team in the 50's and before.

Honestly, they calmed down considerably after the famous MOB incident at Kyle in '73. When the CTs cut down their "Victory Tree" I'm guessing they figured "what are those crazy bastards going to do next?" There were no notable incidents in my time from 75-79, at Kyle or in Houston. 5 for 5 wins may have had something to do with that. The MOB was still insolent and (to me) very entertaining, but... reserved.

Hopefully the MOB will come out with something good (good as in gets Aggies riled up) this time. As I recall they didn't make the trip last year.

Well New Army is the Internet generation, might be more receptive to the whole ironic self-deprecation thing. Also a four touchdown halftime lead will probably make the jokes a lot easier to take.

If you're that desperate I'll mail you some tamales made by a sweet Mexican lady that lives in Bryan somewhere near MLK.

That's ok, my folks send me Tex-Mex every now and then

Probably better for me that I don't eat it all the time, anyways. Imma gain 10 lbs in a hurry if I get to move back to TX afte the military

I feel your pain. At various times, I was stationed in Philly, New York and Connecticut. No good Tex-Mex to be had. Fortunately, there was some great Italian to compensate.

Midwest food
Enjoy your bland casseroles.

I love me some Italian. Probably just as much as Tex-Mex, tbh. Dearth of that in the Midwest though, like you said

Me neither, but more because I ate too much of it in China two weeks ago.

Sorry about the Mexican food thing. For real. No one should have to stoop to Taco Hell.

I was stationed in Connecticut and was able to find good food. Seafood and Pizza that was about the only thing I was willing to eat.
