Taking that information and saying who are the pretenders and the contenders makes the list worth posting.

In the Pac - 12 I'd say my stock in the league is down. UCLA looks very beatable. Washington has been underwhelming to say the least. Stanford has an identity crisis on offense. They get cute when they should ground and pound and then ground and pound when they should be cute.

The teams that I'd keep an eye on are Utah and Ariona State.

USC is great but I want to see what happens when starters start getting nicked up.

Thanks Carolina, I was going off this and omitted Georgia.

If I missed anyone else from the power 5, feel free to inform me and I will correct it.

I think from this list we can get a better understanding of who could be in the Playoff. I love the fact that the 2 Michigan schools are out and Ohio State in week 2.

Missing LSU from the West and Florida from the East.

edit: Only SEC teams with losses are Arky (to AU), SCar (to aTm) and Vandy (who is probably going to lose to everyone this year).

Cool. I'm gonna RA for a sticky. If you'd like to take on the challenge of keeping this updated each week I think it would be pretty cool to have an idea of the undefeated teams as the season progresses.

Yeah, I can definitely take care of it. It almost feels like a weekly playoff already. Sticky it to me.

You can remove that x now. Way to stand strong NCAA.

This really is a good idea though. It's always good to see the big picture.
