I think we have proven we worry about those things, but that wasn't the premise of my statement. I was saying that everyone ELSE for the third year running has basically said we won't even compete for one reason or another and yet here we are ... winning games.
I have no worries that we are concerned about more than just competing. The only person who brings up the fact that we have never finished better than in the middle of the SEC West more than the idiots on this board is our own coach. He knows we have to win more than just games.

Nobody who wins championships congratulates themselves for proving internet people wrong.

Auburn came out of nowhere last year and actually won the sec championship and they don't start near as many "we proved the rant wrong" threads.

Everybody outside of aTm nation was wrong as well. In fact, quite a few Aggie buddies I work with weren't so sure the young QB's there could succeed right away. Very nice game against a good team for the Aggies. Heck, I'm hoping Low was just half as wrong about the young Tigers as he was the Aggies.

I was just following the nobody who wins championships line. I find it stupid and unbecoming and I personally don't enjoy it from any fans. I've said the same thing for a number of years now. Just my opinion on the thread bumping and you all were wrong troll flame retroll trend on the rant.

My comments sure aren't going to stop it. I was just antsy at work with football season around the corner trying to kill some time. Good win on yall's part, I certainly didn't expect the new qb to come in like that. The west should have a lot of very interesting games this year.

Some of you folks need to LEARN that preseason hype and talking heads that list Heisman winners, bowl pairings, qb ratings and top 25 rankings etc etc are WORTHLESS as the craphole they come from.
Already Kenny Hill is Heisman winner...please! There are 11 more regular season games left.
Yet numbnuts latch on to every word and hold it as gospel.
Look at AU last year....what ranking were they? Marshall was unknown except as a transfer DB. Who had Winston winning the H? Let the season play out a bit. USC could come back solid..who knows? But I think they have deep problems after losing 3 excellent defensive linemen....and their secondary is porous. A&Ms wrs should have been looking for their mouthguards after every play, but USC was soft.
