Does Auburn match up better with A&M than LSU does this year?

Lets face it. LSU has a good formula for matching up against both our offenses.

Our defense will not be able to stop most teams I am afraid. We will have to out score them

Final score

Auburn 88
TAM - 86

LSU has the DBs to match up with A&M's WRs, Abbie does not

JFF got A&M in trouble a lot vs. LSU cause of his running. Kenny is a pass first all day...don't know how much those DBS could take unless they rattled Kenny early.

Depends on how the game goes, and whether AU's offense or LSU's defense is more prominent in the respective game.

Auburn will be better positioned to win a shootout, LSU is better positioned to avoid one. If LSU screws up early or A&M has good progress against that D, they're in trouble. But if they can slow A&M at the outset, they'll probably be well positioned to win.

This I'm actually worried about. Without Lawson I think this may be an area of concern for our D. Which is not good because the back 7 is going to need their help.

Actually no.

He got in trouble because we made him pass. We contained him in the pocket better than most and didn't let him adlib with his athleticism.

LSU has an arsenal of DBs. USC did not. Those WR's were open all day and the tackling was abysmal.

Sorry Lanier, you forgot. No Jake Holland this year. Auburns Defense will be waaay better than last year.

I did hear that Gus has hired Chaz Ramsey though to comeback and consult on chop blocking technique specifically for the LSU game.
